Game Jam

WGD Welcome Jam 2021

My first ever game jam, I produced a procedurally generated dungeon crawler with an enemy takeover mechanic in a team of three. The jam was the first event of the year for the Warwick Game Design Society, and the theme was "new experiences".

Called Inhabition, the game was mostly programmed by myself, with art and additional programming by my teammates Daniel and Icen. It was made with Gamemaker Studio 2, and I had to teach the others the engine as we progressed through the jam.

The game is functional and complete (for a game jam game), but it is far from an enjoyable experience. However, I am proud of our team and what we accomplished in our first ever attempt at a game within 24 hours. You can access the game on and Github by following the links below.
